Premiere (Prince of Tennis)
This is a response to a 15-minute prompt challenge that ran longer. It was written with my alternate-universe, crossover, spanking RPG in mind, in which various unusually-gifted characters from several different fandoms (such as Prince of Tennis/Changechildren, Death Note, and X-Men, etc) all live in the same school and exchange messages on a private mailing list. Contains spanking.
Premiere (Prince of Tennis)

Yesterday I was invited to go to a midnight movie premiere by a friend of mine on Rikkaidai’s high school tennis team (ours in the junior high team.) He had won the tickets from a local radio station, and knowing I was a big fan of the movie’s star, he asked me first. My only problem was that the adults in the mansion would never let me go to any movie that STARTED at midnight.
I wasn’t going to let that stop me, though! I had the chance to see this movie before any of my friends, no way would I miss it.
I was careful not to tell anyone else about it. Not that I don’t trust you guys, but if the wrong person overheard (like Mizuki Hajime, whose invisibility power means that he spies on us all the time) it would be all over. I went to bed like everyone else and after room check went through at eleven, I got up again. Very carefully, not even popping my gum, I made my way downstairs and outside, making sure to leave the door unlocked so I could get back in. I high-tailed it to my friend’s waiting car down the street.
“So how come you had me park way over here with the lights out?” he asked in amusement.
“Because I value my life. Let’s roll,” I said.
I had never been to a midnight premiere before, and it was really exciting. The radio station people were there and made announcements before the show began, and they gave out promotional items (I got a poster!) As for the movie itself, it was fantastic! I couldn’t believe I got to see it for free, and now I could brag about it to my buddies who wouldn’t see it for another week. Life was good – what could possibly go wrong?
My friend drove me home and let me out in the same spot. I waved goodbye and headed home. The mansion was dark, which made sense since it was past two in the morning. I slipped up to the front door and pulled on it.
Locked.
Panic shot through me. How could this be?! I’d deliberately left it unlocked so that I wouldn’t have to rattle a key around and make any noise. What’s more, I hadn’t even BROUGHT my key! In between heart attacks, I told myself not to freak out – there were other doors. Surely ONE of them would be a way in!
I ran around to the kitchen entrance – locked. After tripping over a hose and landing in a rose bush, I scrambled to the back door; no luck.
“Aw, come on!” I groaned. “Gimme a break!”
I looked left and right, figuring that would be the cue for Logan or someone to show up and say, “Don’t tempt me.” But he didn’t. I was really locked out, and the last bus had stopped running, so there was nowhere for me to go.
I considered using my cell phone to call one of my teammates inside, but the only one without a roommate right now was my own, and Akaya was too sound a sleeper to hear his phone. I thought about calling Bobby, but I didn’t want to get him involved in case we got caught. I sat down on the front porch and sighed, wondering if in the morning, anyone would believe that I got up early to go jogging. While holding a poster.
“Okay, kid, get in here.”
I jumped and looked behind me. It was Echizen Nanjiroh.
“Oh, wow, am I glad it’s you!” I bounced to my feet and popped my gum. “I thought it would be one of the adults!”
Echizen-san cocked his head and gave me an odd look. “You don’t see me as one of the adults, Bunta-kun?”
“Oh, I didn’t mean anything by that,” I said, lowering my voice as I stepped inside the house. “I just meant that we all know you’re more easy-going than some of the others. You can probably understand my wanting to go to this movie premiere, and I’ll bet you even find my getting locked out funny.”
He closed the door. “Yeah, I’d say it was funny,” he told me with a sly grin. “Especially as I’m the one who locked you out.”
I stared at him. “What? Why?”
“Because I did a last bed check before going to bed myself and found you gone.” He dug a finger into his ear. “By then it was midnight, which meant you were WAY late. And I was the only grown-up who knew about it, everyone else was asleep.”
I clapped him on the shoulder. “Right, that’s why it’s so cool!”
He chuckled and clapped me back, steering me down the hall. “Wrong! Because this time I’m not gonna look the other way.”
“I don’t get it,” I said, wondering why we weren’t going upstairs. “I can see your locking me out as a sort of joke, but –“
“It’s no joke, it’s a lesson,” Echizen-san told me. “Just like this is gonna be. Come on in here.”
We were in Professor Xavier’s office. He closed the door.
“Should we be in here?” I asked uncertainly.
He shrugged. “I could take you upstairs where everyone will hear me walloping your butt, if you prefer.”
My jaw dropped open and my gum fell out. “What? No way!”
“Good, then let’s get started.”
“No! I mean why would you spank me? You never spank ANY of us!”
“Maybe that’s why, Bunta.” He looked at me. “If I look away when I’m the ONLY adult around, not only will you start walking all over me, but there’ll be no one for me to blame if you get hurt out there but myself. I like you, and I don’t want anything to happen to you.” He took my arm and led me to the couch, seating himself down on it. He unfastened my pants and took them down, plus my underwear, then bent me over his lap.
“OW!” I cried as the first whack landed.
“Aw, that one wasn’t that hard,” Echizen-san said cheerfully and whacked me again. “But that one was!”
It didn’t hurt too much at first, but the more he spanked me, the more the pain began to stay between whacks and the more the whacks themselves stung and burned as they landed. I should have known that a world-class tennis player would have a strong arm, but GEEZ!
I think I was crying a little by the time he finished, and it wasn’t even that long a spanking. It hurt, yes, but what upset me more was that I’d managed to somehow force him into this, when up until now, he’d usually been willing to help us OUT of trouble. Now was he just going to be one of the crowd of adults we already had too many of?
He rubbed my back when he was done, then helped me up when I was ready. I dressed in silence, trying not to sniffle in that embarrassing way. He stood up and pulled me into his arms for a hug.
“Ahhh, I’m sorry I had to do that, kid,” he said. “It’s not that I’ve changed my mind about being the ‘easy’ one around here, mostly because there are usually others to deal with it. But it’s not good for kids to ALWAYS think you’re a pushover. It’s good to keep you guessing.” He patted my hair. “Come on, let’s go to bed. I can sleep in, but you have to go to school in the morning.”
I still don’t know what to think about what happened, but I guess Echizen-san accomplished one thing – I won’t be taking his being the ‘easy’ one for granted anymore!

Why would Marui go out, knowing that if he got caught he would likely get spanked? Even if he was counting on being able to get back in, the odds were against him. What do teenagers be thinking? *shakes head*

SPANKING
